Changes in BOS leadership and a look at some of the action in your briefing.
Willits City Council tonight. Pre-meeting brief here:
WHAT WAS IT: Board of Supervisors
WHEN WAS IT: Tuesday, January 10
Mendocino County Board of Supervisors will navigate 2023 with Glenn McGourty as chair of the board.
With McGourty's ascent to board chair, Maureen Mulheren settles in as vice chair.
The change passed with a unanimous vote on a motion from former chair Ted Williams.
Supervisor John Haschak, having won reelection in ‘22, was sworn in, too.
Public Comment:
Transportation–Ukiah-area resident Ken Budrow explained to supervisors why he worries about the county's plans to build a roundabout at Kuki Lane and North State Street near In-N-Out Burger.
Haschak encouraged Budrow to pursue attending a meeting of Mendocino County Council of Governments or MCOG.
