Voters will decide on a state-wide flavored tobacco ban in November, but don’t count on any funding or additional structures to enforce it, an anti-tobacco advocate told council members Tuesday.
“We hope all of you will say ‘yes’ to this and it is valuable to your community,” Larry Olson said.
Olson said he hoped to see the ordinance Oct. 12, but the city says that’s probably too soon.
Council meetings return to in-person, non-hybrid meetings Oct. 12.
