You say you like the heat?
Be it rain, snow or heat we seem to live in a time when anything qualifies for a public service advisory message from the government or the weather bureau.
And to be sure, the weekend was a scorcher for anyone who spent the weekend in Willits.
It used to be that 98 degrees was just a hot summer day. For this week, the National Weather Service predicted a high of 90 degrees, followed by 85 on Tuesday, 86 on Wednesday 89 on Thursday and 92 on Friday.
Expect night temperatures from 53 to 56 degrees on those days, according to the NWS forecast.
Among the online weather stations that NEWSBOY tracks, July’s high temperature sits at 104.
