Possible 2026 opening for Haehl Creek Village

A council decision on a Highway 20 Caltrans project is pending next month, if the city can even expect to have a say on what happens to a state highway.

A housing project is coming to an undeveloped area that abuts the Mormon church and Harrah Manor.

Rural Community Housing Development Corporation leads development of the 47-unit unit project.

“I wish we could get the timeline faster because we really need that housing and it sounds like a really wonderful project,” Councilwoman Madge Strong said.
