Remote meetings
City council members will consider renewal of remote meetings for another 30 days.
The remote-meeting item is on the consent calendar, so if any council members wanted to talk about reopening meetings they would need to speak up and remove it from the automatic approval that the consent calendar offers.
League of California Cities
Councilmember Gerry Gonzalez and Councilmember Larry Stranske, an alternate, represent the city at the League of California Cities.
Gonzalez and Stranske’s status will be affirmed in a formal WHEREAS-style resolution if council members approve the item–expect it to pass since Mayor Saprina Rodriguez previously appointed them.
Ells Field growth
Air ambulance provider REACH has approached the city with plans to build a hangar near the company’s office building at the Willits Airport.
Before REACH can get a roof over its helicopter, the city must first update the airport’s layout plan through the FAA, a report from City Hall stated.
