Records fees resistance continues
Local media’s resistance to public records fees continued Tuesday at the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors meeting.
New fees for public records allow the county to request payment upfront and again if search and review runs over budget.
“A lot of people are watching Mendocino County and how they are going to handle this,” The Mendocino Voice publisher Kate Maxwell said.
