Maybe the best way to decipher the county’s budget is to listen to what Supervisor John Haschak told council members last week.
As you may recall, Haschak visits the council once a month for a verbal report. The county is looking at closing a $3 million budget deficit, he said.
“We will deal with that, we will balance it in June. We will have to make some hard choices, but we will balance it,” Haschak said. “Certainly keeping the museum open is a priority of mine.”
